All Timber Paling materials may be purchased either individually or by the metre. Materials purchased by the metre include the following:

Purchased by the metre every 5.4m of fencing includes:
3/5.4m  - 75mm x 50mm treated pine rails – top bottom & middle
1/5.4m  - 150mm x 25mm treated pine plinth
27 each 150mm  x 12mm treated pine palings – space 50mm apart
27 each 100mm  x 12mm treated pine palings – overlap 25mm
1 - 125 x 75 Hardwood post per 2.7m spacing

Pricing for Lapped  Treated Pine materials with Hardwood posts is as follows:
1.65m high - $32.00 per metre excluding 1st/starter posts
1.95m high - $36.00 per metre excluding 1st/starter posts
(with splayed treated pine capping add $8.50 per metre)

Pricing for Lapped Hardwood materials with Hardwood posts is as follows:
1.65m high - $43.05 per metre excluding 1st/starter posts
1.95m high - $46.45 per metre excluding 1st/starter posts
(with splayed treated pine capping add $8.50 per metre)

Splayed Capping
90mm x 45 treated pine capping in 5.4m lengths - $45.90 each

Posts should be at least 450mm in ground. If  ground is uneven or sandy allow 700mm.

The size of materials will depend on the height of the fence i.e. standard heights are either 1.65m high or 1.95m high. If you wish to install a 1.8m high fence you will need to purchase materials to complete a 1.95m high fence as palings do not come 1.65m high as standard.
